NIAAA T-32 Postdoctoral Research Training Fellowship

NIAAA T32 POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

This fellowship offers candidates the opportunity to develop an integrated research program and enhance skills necessary for a successful academic/research career.

Our program admits trainees whose research interests are aligned with the work of our mentoring faculty or collaborating colleagues. This ensures that candidates are ready to engage immediately and build successful collaborations.

The structure of mentorship includes one or more primary mentor(s) and a co-mentoring secondary mentor for each fellow. Mentoring faculty have a wide array of expertise.

Applications must be submitted electronically. Paper applications will not be accepted. The application process requires you to complete an electronic application form, which requires you to upload supporting materials.

Uploading Supporting Materials

After you have filled out all required fields on the online application, you are asked to upload as part of your application the following supporting documentation in PDF format:

  1. Applicant’s curriculum vitae.
  2. A detailed cover letter describing research interests, potential project foci for the fellowship period, and longer-term career goals.
  3. Three letters of recommendation are required and will be uploaded by the individual to whom wrote the letter. The letters should be from an individual well acquainted with the applicant’s research work.

Only PDF documents will be accepted. All files must be submitted individually on the attachments page of the online application.
